CSULB Senior Portraits | AACF Grads!

What up bloggers! Graduation season is in full swing, as you may have noticed from my other postings. This season has always been bittersweet for me. There are so many emotions surrounding the end of school, the coming of summer, and the fears, anxieties, and stresses of launching into a new season of life. But fear not Class of 2012, though you do not know what the future holds for you, know that an awesome and powerful God has you in the palm of His hands. Even though we may stumble, we cling to the hope and salvation of Christ, knowing that His plans for us are more amazing and imaginable than what we could possibly dream of.

Here are some fun shots of me hanging out with some of my best friends around our school. Although I am not graduating with them, I have been blessed to share in college memories; happy, sad, mournful, joyful.

Prom! | Conrad & Emily

I had a great time shooting prom photos for two of my favorite high schoolers in my church’s youth group. This past weekend took me back to my own senior prom 4 years ago. Coincidentally, my date and I wore similar colors!

It was so a unique moment for me as a youth leader to take part in a big day for them in their high school career. I remember asking my youth pastor to take photos for my dances. To be the one in the leader shoes now is such blessed experience. I’ve shared many memories with these students, whether it has been eating my favorite chicken and waffles, a missions trip to Mexico, summer camp at Forest Home, or unfortunately, shamelessly singing One Direction on long car rides.

It was so fun to take part in this event and think remember my own memories from high school and senior year.

Millikan High School Grad | Torin Ng

My kid brother is graduating high school! It’s amazing to think that, 4 years ago, I was in his shoes deciding where to go for college. I’m super proud of his own accomplishments and excited for him to join me at CSULB in the fall! Congrats Torin!

High School Senior Portraits | Conrad Graduates!

Conrad is one of the high schoolers in my church’s youth group. This year, he has been an active student leader. We went together on a trip to Mexicali together back in March. He has been an incredible person to get to know and to see the change Christ has made in his life. Excited for his graduation and to see him on campus at CSULB in the fall!

CSULB Senior Portraits | Sam Chhim

Sam has been a friend of mine through my college career. We’ve been part of the same Christian fellowship on campus in which we’ve experienced being on the same teams for retreats! Something she’s quite passionate about is advocating for the physically disabled, which is something that I can relate to since I have to deal with that same issue in interior design. Sam has been a great friend to chat with in between classes and I’m super excited to see her graduate! Congrats Sam!
